My Top Travel Moments from 2025

From beer-soaked Bavarian nights to soulful journeys across borders—these are the 2025 travel moments that changed me.

Introduction

A year of contrasts, cultures, and unforgettable experiences.

2025 has been one of the most transformative years of my life, not just in where I travelled, but in how travel made me feel, think, and grow. This year wasn’t about ticking destinations off a list. It was about experiencing the world in all its layers, through my eyes, and embracing beauty, history, truth, luxury, nature, and every emotion that I could think of and feel.

From Europe to Asia, from islands to mountains, from quiet reflection to high-energy celebrations, 2025 showed me how vast and diverse this world truly is and that I should not limit myself. Because the day I let God choose my path, that is when the real magic began to unfold. And I feel incredibly grateful to have lived it the way I did.

Here are my most unforgettable travel moments from 2025 — moments that are very close to my heart.

April 2025: Sardinia & Sicily — A Different Side of Italy

My 2025 travel journey began in April with Sardinia and Sicily, and what an eye-opening start it was.

I’ve always loved Italy, but this trip showed me a completely different side of it — raw, intense, deeply cultural, and layered with history. The landscapes were breathtaking, the food unforgettable, and the charm undeniable. Yet, Sicily especially left me both mesmerised and shaken.

Seeing how the mafia is still a dominant and visible part of life in certain areas was something I hadn’t expected. It was confronting, real, and humbling, and at some point in time, it was quite scary too, with that adrenaline rush.  Travel isn’t always just pretty views—sometimes it forces you to confront truths that guidebooks don’t talk about.

That’s what made this trip so powerful. Italy, in this form, was emotional, beautiful, and complex — and I’m grateful I experienced it honestly.

July 2025: Paris — A Familiar Kind of Magic

After the intensity of Italy, July called for something lighter and more about taking a break from everyday life, and I found myself back in my favourite city — Paris — for a quick four-day escape.

This trip was all about slowing down: shopping local Parisian brands along with some luxury brand shopping and making sure I feel good about myself, after all, that’s what a woman needs, along with some long walks with iconic views, indulgent food, quiet café moments, and simply relaxing. And of course, dreaming — because after all, I was in Paris. Romance has a way of lingering in the air there, even when you’re just passing through.

It was the perfect contrast to the middle of my year — familiar, comforting, and effortlessly beautiful.

August 2025: The Baltic States — Small Cities, Big Impressions

In August, I travelled to the Baltic States, and this was one of the biggest and most pleasant surprises of the year.

The cities were small, yes — but overflowing with history, charm, warmth, and soul. From cobbled streets to mediaeval architecture, from cosy cafés to heartfelt conversations — everything felt intimate, personalised and authentic.

What stood out most was how welcoming and grounded everything felt. No rush. No noise. Just stories, culture, and a quiet confidence that doesn’t need to shout. People were just so nice and warm.

This trip reminded me that sometimes the smallest places leave the biggest imprint on your heart.

September 2025: Maldives — A Serene Shift

September took me somewhere completely different — the Maldives.

This wasn’t my usual kind of destination. I’m often drawn to cities, culture, and movement — but the Maldives slowed me down in the most beautiful way. It was all about the ocean, sea life, underwater habitats, and silence.

Experiencing marine life up close, floating between sky and sea, and disconnecting from the outside world felt surreal. It was serene, grounding, and deeply calming.

This trip taught me that sometimes travel doesn’t need exploration—it needs stillness.

October 2025: North Japan — Nature at Its Most Spectacular

October was, without question, one of the most spectacular trips of my life — North Japan.

My God—the natural beauty, the landscapes, the culture, the discipline, the silence, the contrasts. It felt like stepping into a completely different world. From mountains to forests, from traditional towns to untouched nature — everything was breathtaking.

Japan didn’t just impress me visually—it changed my perspective. The respect for nature, the harmony, and the attention to detail made this journey deeply inspiring.

This trip reminded me why I travel — to feel small in the best possible way. The world is so huge that sometimes when I travel, I feel so small. I feel liberated. I feel life is about so much more than office and home; life is how you want to define it and what you want to feel.

End of November 2025: Courchevel — Birthday, Ski & Queen Energy

To celebrate my birthday, I ended November with a luxury ski trip to Courchevel, and honestly — wow.

This was indulgence at its finest. Skiing, parties, couture-level luxury, and staying in a palace where I was treated like absolute royalty. From the service to the atmosphere, everything screamed elegance and celebration.

It was the perfect reminder that travel can also be about celebrating yourself, your journey, and how far you have come. This trip was nothing less than a royal treatment. Something that my heart has desired all these years, and today I'm living this and celebrating myself and my achievements.

Luxury, joy, and unapologetic queen energy — exactly how a birthday should be.

December 2025: Switzerland — Christmas with My Girl Gang

As the year comes to a close, December is taking me back to my first love, yes, to Switzerland—where I’ll be spending Christmas with my girl gang. This is the trip we girls have been planning for the past year on WhatsApp and Instagram, and finally, it has happened. And this is where I met the love of my life.

I will tell you exactly how I met him and how he proposed to me in my next personal blog. But for now, I just want to thank all those readers who have been reading my blogs and following my personal growth. This is all because of you guys, who are my biggest cheerleaders and well-wishers. So thank you to each one of you. AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Snowy landscapes, festive markets, cosy moments, laughter, and togetherness—ending the year surrounded by love feels incredibly special. It’s the perfect full-circle moment after a whirlwind year of movement.

Some journeys are about destinations.

This one is about people.

Gratitude, Always

2025 has been a whirlwind — across continents, cultures, climates, and emotions. I experienced luxury, nature, history, silence, celebration, and deep reflection.

I’m grateful beyond words for these opportunities — to see the world, to experience it honestly, and to keep evolving through travel.

If this year taught me anything, it’s this:

The world is vast, beautiful, complicated, and waiting — if you’re brave enough to meet it with an open heart.

And I’m just getting started.
